gistalert: Klopp Rules Out Gerrard Return To Liverpool

This will probably break the hearts of a few Kop fans, but Jurgen Klopp has ruled out a loan return for club legend Steven Gerrard in December.
It was rumoured that Klopp was open to the prospect of Gerrard joining the team on loan from December to January.
But that doesn’t seem to be the case, as Klopp will only let Gerrard train with the team and not play with his team.
“All I can say is that I’ve had contact with Stevie – one phone call and a few messages,” said the Liverpool manager.
“He is a legend. If he’s in Liverpool and wants to train ahead of next season in LA that’s absolutely no problem. Nothing else.”
